Japanese Researchers Commend Sapporo Islamic International School's Warm and Encouraging Environment

Date: Friday, February 2, 2024

We are delighted to share exciting news regarding an important visit that took place on Friday, February 2, 2024. Our esteemed school had the privilege of hosting professors and graduate students from Nagoya, Kyoto, and Waseda University. The distinguished guests, all Japanese researchers, are actively engaged in a research project focused on Islamic education in Japan.

The purpose of their visit was to observe and analyze the Islamic education landscape in various schools across Japan. Today, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to our KG and elementary teachers for their outstanding efforts during the professors’ visit.

The visiting team is on a mission to explore and understand how Islamic education is provided for the Muslim community in Japan. Sapporo Islamic International School left an indelible impression on them with its warm and encouraging environment. Out of the 20 Japanese schools they have visited as part of their research, our school stood out as a beacon of inclusivity and support for Muslim students.

The researchers expressed their admiration for the positive and welcoming atmosphere they experienced during their time at our school. They emphasized that, among the schools they visited, they did not encounter such a genuinely warm and encouraging environment as witnessed here at Sapporo Islamic International School.

We extend our gratitude to the entire school community for contributing to this commendable atmosphere. Your dedication to creating a nurturing environment for our students has not gone unnoticed. May Allah accept your efforts and grant us the strength to continue our work, witnessing its positive impact on our students and community.

Thank you for being an integral part of Sapporo Islamic International School’s journey towards excellence in Islamic education.
