WELCOME TO SAPPORO INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

EDUCATIONS

Sapporo International School (SIS) currently has three levels of education: Kindergarten, Elementary, and Junior High School. In addition, SIS also has two annual and weekly external education programs: Summer School and After School Program. SIS implements the American Curriculum, which follows the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for all grades (K-12), in combination with the AIQ (Arabic, Islamic, and Qur’an) curriculum and Japanese National Curriculum. 

School Facility

SIS has several facilities that are used to support teaching and learning activities, these facilities are categorized into internal school facilities and external facilities (owned by the government, agencies and private companies that have collaborated with SIIS).

School Admission

School registration (kindergarten and elementary school) opens every year in April, summer course programs also open every year in certain months, and special for After School programs open at any time.

SUMMER SCHOOL

SIS organizes summer school activities once every year, and this program is open to the public (anyone can register). The summer school is held for one week and each day there are different activities, to train the students: Enrichment and Exploration, Language Acquisition, Social and Emotional Development, Transition Programs and all of those points is under comprehensive Islamic learning environment.

AFTER SCHOOL

After School Program is a school program that is held outside of education hours and is open to the public (anyone can register). After School programs that have been established are Arabic Language Class and Al-Qur’an Tajweed and Memorization Class.
